London: Newcastle United twice came from behind to beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-2 and move into 11th place in the Premiership. Two goals in 90 seconds, a powerful shot from Obafemi Martins followed by a goal from midfielder Nicky Butt saw Newcastle turn the match on its head to go 3-2 up. Jermain Defoe had given Spurs a 14th minute lead only for Paul Huntington to level minutes later. Dimitar Berbatov restored the home side’s adavantage in the 54th only for Newcastle to rally in style. Everton drew with Reading 1-1 in another match.
