KASKI: Nepal’s Nim Bahadur Magar and Beth Morgan of United Kingdom won the Extreme Slalom events under the Himalayan Water Challenge 2016, an international kayaking tournament, in Seti River here today.

Magar won the men’s category. Garen Stephen of the United States and Prakash Gurung of Nepal were joint second, while Nepal’s Umesh Shrestha was third. Similarly, Morgan claimed the women’s section title and Susan Doyle of Ireland bagged second position. A total of 32 participants competed in the final day’s competition. The first day saw Down River Race and Boater Cross was held on Tuesday.
