Janakpur, September 6:

New Road Team (NRT) registered an easy 4-0 victory over Janakpur XI in the first match of their national tour. Subash Rai struck two goals, while Basanta Gauchan and Nirajan Rayamajhi scored one each for NRT.

NRT are scheduled to tour eight cities where they will play friendly matches against local teams.

After the Janakpur trip, the NRT will take on Knight Chess Club, Rastriya Jagriti Club, Young Star Club, Sudar Paschhim Football Team, Nepalgunj Club, Baglung-XI before wrapping up the tour with a match against Gorkha-XI on September 27.

Kathmandu Khel Mandal (KKM), the mother organisation of NRT, is looking after the footballing part of the tour managed by Nepa~laya.
