KATHMANDU: The National Sports Council (NSC) Member Secretary Hari Babu Chaudhary said the sports governing body is not in a position to help any of the sports associations financially at the moment. “We have run out of budget and even the employees at the council might not get their paycheck for the next month,” said Chaudhary. According to Chaudhary, the budged crunch is such that they had to take loan from the Finance Ministry to ease Nepal’s participation in the third Indoor Asian Games in Vietnam. Chaudhary also said the government should take the matter serious or else it could seriously affect Nepal’s participation in the 11th South Asian Games.
