KATHMANDU: The National Sports Council and National Trauma Centre reached an agreement for the treatment of national and international players of the country. NSC Member Secretary Ramesh Kumar Silwal and Acting Chief Medical Superintendent of NRC Dr Santosh Paudel signed the memorandum of understanding amidst a programme on Friday.

As per the agreement, the NTC would provide national and international players with all the treatment available at the Centre under its Social Service Unit. Both the sides would appoint their focal persons to facilitate the treatment for the athletes.

Member Secretary Silwal thanked the Centre for joining hands with the NSC for the benefit of athletes.

Dr Paudel said the Centre wanted to honour the contribution of athletes who make the nation proud.

The NSC also handed over appreciation letters to the Centre for its support during the 13th South Asian Games held in December 2019 and Chandragiri Badminton Club for playing an important role in making the contract possible.
