NSC revokes seven NA’s registration

KATHMANDU: The National Sports Council on Tuesday revoked the affiliation of seven national associations for not meeting the criteria. Nepal Football Association (2065), Nepal Genuine Martial Art Association (2066), Nepal Fusion Martial Art Association (2066), Nepal Yoga Association (2068), Nepal Arm Wrestling Association (2065), Nepal Drugs and AIDS Association (2057) and Nepal Corporate Sports Association (2063) came under the NSC axe after they were found to have been idle since getting registered, informed NSC Press Advisor Rohit Dahal in a release. The NSC had formed a three-member investigation committee headed by its Member Shanti Singh and the decision was reached as per the recommended of the committee.
