KATHMANDU: The Nepal Sports Journalists Forum on Wednesday condemned national football team's acting head coach Pradip Humagain for his irresponsible comments during the post-match conference after the international friendly against Bangladesh.
According to the NSJF, Humagain claimed of providing the NSJF with Rs 50,000 while interacting with media after Nepal's 3-1 victory at the Dasharath Stadium on Tuesday.
"The comments of Humagain are unacceptable and we strongly deny his claims," said NSJF in a release. "The NSJF has never accepted personal donations in the past and it will not take monetary assistance from any individual in future," the release added.
The NSJF also submitted the memorandum to the All Nepal Football Association and demanded stern action against Humagain.
