LALITPUR: The Olympic Solidarity Technical Course for Coaches in Gymnastics began here at the Nepal Olympic Committee on Tuesday.

A total of 30 coaches from Nepal are taking part in the course which is conducted by Japanese expert Yumika Itoh. “The local coaches will learn about the techniques of Gymnastics for All which is getting popular these days and Itoh will deal about theoretical as well as practical aspects of the game over the next five days,” said Nepal Gymnastics Association President Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan. He also asked the coaches to spread the knowledge to others who could not make it to the course. Earlier, NOC Vice-president Purendra Bikram Lakhe inaugurated the course.
