KATHMANDU: Nepal APF Club pair of Nir Bikram Devkota and Nirajan Devkota recorded win in the National Open Men's Doubles Badminton Tournament on Tuesday.

Devkota duo saw off the pair of Dil Bahadur Lama and Sonam Lama in straight set of 2-0.

Similarly, Tinchuli pairs of Kubermani Lingkhet and Ajad Lingkhet as well as Narayan Gautam and Ang Kusung Sherpa, PFC's duo Sanjay Kapali and Surendra Khanal, Remix's Suroj Maharjan and Sirjan Tamrakar and Bhagwati Youth Club's Dutta Thapa and Raju Deuja also won their matches.

A total of 45 pairs are competing in the three-day event organised by Bhagwati Youth Club.

Top two pairs will get Rs 40,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively, while the losing semi-finalists will receive Rs 5,000 each.
