KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 23
The Sports Development Committee of Panchpokhari Thangpal Rural Municipality is organising the Panchpokhari T20 Districtwide Cricket Tournament at the Mulpani grounds from February 27 to March 6.
A total of eight teams from Sindhupalchowk district will take part in the tournament and only the residents of the districts are eligible to play in the event, informed the organiser at a press meet on Wednesday.
Top two teams will receive Rs 75,000 and Rs 40,000 respectively, while the player of the series, best bowler and best batsman will get free training packages at the Great Himalaya Cricket Academy.
After organising three editions of Panchpokhari Super 8s, the organisers decided to change the format of the tournament from this year.
