JHAPA: Nepal Police Club (NPC) lifted the title of third National Men’s League Volleyball Tournament defeating Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC) 3-0 here on Sunday. NPC won the first set 25-17 and never looked back. They took the next two sets 25-18 and 25-14. Along with the title, NPC received Rs 315,000, while TAC got 175,000. Nepal APF Club earned Rs 110,000. Kul Bahadur Thapa of NPC was adjudged the best player of the tournament and was awarded with Rs 25,000. Sanjay Aryal, Im Rana and Sumsher Chand of NPC received the best spiker, lifter and libro awards respectively, while Raj Kumar Thapa of TAC was named the best blocker.
