KATHMANDU: Babu Kumar Poudel won the title of the third RNGC and Matrika Eye Centre Monthly Medal Golf Tournament here at the Royal Nepal Golf Club on Saturday.
Played under stroke play full handicap format, Poudel carded three-over 71 to finish first in gross section. He also won the longest drive award. Mithun Rai came second with 74 and he also bagged the closest-to-the-pin award.
Hari Bahadur Shrestha won the net category title with the score of 62, while DIG Ashok Singh was second on 66. Devi Pulami won the women's section title on count back after she was tied on 68 with Ranu Baniya. DIG Singh also won the most birdies award with three birdies, while Sushma Singh claimed the straightest drive award.
