KATHMANDU: Nepal Swimming Association is organising the eighth Pramod Memorial Cup Age-group and Open Swimming Championships from May 28-29 at the International Sports Complex pool.

The event will also serve as the selection tournament for the 17th FINA World Championships to be held in Budapest, Hungary from July 14-30, informed the NSA in a release on Thursday. A total of four swimmers — two each in men and women sections — will be picked up for the World Championships based on their FINA rating.

The NSA has formed various committees, including main organising committee under the leadership of its Treasurer Shyam Sundar Adhikari, to ensure the successful organisation of the championships.
