BAGLUNG: The Mayor Cup Football Tournament-2074 will kick off in Baglung district from January 30 to February 5.

Extensive preparations for the tournament to be organised by Baglung Municipality at Bangechaur and Bhakunde playgrounds in Province 4 are underway.

Dhan Bahadur Pariyar, Chairperson of the District Sports Development Committee said that the administrative work for the competition has reached its final stage.

Pariyar further added that all 26 Municipalities of the Province have been invited to participate in the tournament in which 15 to 20 teams are expected to take part.

The Committee has taken on the responsibility to manage and run the competition.

The winners will receive Rs 222,222 cash while the runner up will get Rs 111,111.
