Proteas falter
Dhaka, February 23:
Shahadat Hossain and Mohammad Rafique claimed two wickets each as Bangladesh destroyed South Africa’s top order and fought their way back into the first Test. The hosts were bowled out for 192, but their bowlers reduced the tourists to 76-4 at stumps on the first day.
Hashim Amla (25) and Jacques Kallis (17) staged a mini-recovery before Rafique removed both of them. Earlier, Bangladesh lost first two wickets with only three runs on the board and slumped to 82-5. Morne Morkel claimed two wickets in two balls to end the session for the figures of 4-44.
