Ashmita Rai of Nepal Police with 371 points, along with Ful Maya Kyapchhaki (370) and Rita Devi Shrestha (363), also from Nepal Police, were adjudged the best players in air rifle category at the Women’s Shooting Tournament today. Also, in air pistol, Sabita Basnet (351), Binita Thapa (318) and Kalpana Shrestha (316), all from Nepal Police, were declared the best players. The two-day tournament has been organised by Nepal Shooting Association to mark the 55th birthday of Queen Komal. Earlier, minister for Education and Sports Radha Krishna Mainali inaugurated the event. Member secretary of National Sports Council Kishor Bahadur Singh, president of NSA Kishor Bahadur Karki, NSA general secretary Rana Bahadur Chand, and other officials were also present on the occasion.
