KATHMANDU: Lions Club of Kathmandu Corporate Nepal is organising the fourth Lions Festival Motor Rally from Kathmandu to Bhaktapur on Saturday.
The rally will begin from Dasharath Stadium and will go through Teku, Kalimati, Balkhu, Ekantakuna, Gwarko, Koteshwor, Thimi, Suryabinayak, Kamal Binayak and Byasi before culminating at the Sainik Awasiya Mahavidhyalaya in Bhaktapur, informed Kishor Bhattarai, President of Lions Club of Kathmandu Corporate Nepal. A total of 150 vehicles will take part in the rally which aims at raising awareness on environment and traffic rules.
Volkswagen is the main sponsor of the event, while Turkish Airlines, Apolo Tyres, Nepal Life and General Insurance, Tiger Palace Resort, Veedol Mobil, Old Durbar, Kingfisher, Kumari Bank, Global Reach, Tiger Palace, Yogi Shirting and Suiting, NNH Hospital, Subisu, RJ Sports, Haven Spa and Xtep are cosponsors and supporters.
