LALITPUR: Rana siblings Mayanka and Mahika won the girls’ doubles title of the 14th Jayakar Memorial Junior National Open Tennis Tournament here on Thursday. Rana siblings defeated Mathema twins Catherin and Eni 6-3, 6-2 in the final. Rejan Lama and Sakshyam Karki claimed the boys’ section trophy with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Adit Subedi and Saharsha Chand. Shivangi Shree Shah won the U-9 title, while Rayana Shah claimed U-10 trophy. In U-18 girls’ singles, Mahika defeated her sister Mayanka 0-6, 7-6, 6-4 and set the final date with Eni, a 6-3, 6-1 winner over her sister Catherin. Likewise, Era Rawat and Abhilasha Bista made it to the U-14 girls’ singles final, while Prashant Basnet, Samyak Bhushan Bajracharya, Dipesh KC and Saharsha Chand entered the boys’ semi-finals.
