KATHMANDU, APRIL 04

The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Foundation has appointed Nepal's coach and umpire Naresh Rawal as the promoter for the World Table Tennis Day.

"After carefully revising all applications, you have been selected to receive the support from the ITTF Foundation to become one of the exclusive promoters for the World Table Tennis Day 2021," said the ITTF Foundation in a letter sent to Rawal.

Rawal - former national player, ITTF Level-II coach and international umpire - will conduct two programmes on the occasion of World Table Tennis Day.

"The programmes will be based on female empowerment and gender equality," said Rawal, who also runs the Saroj's Table Tennis 4 All Academy.
