Reed extend unbeaten streak to 11 matches

Kathmandu, January 18

Reed Model School extended their unbeaten run to 11 matches with a 3-0 victory over Nepal Police Club in the 12th Dhorpatan Blue Sky TVS Women’s Double League Volleyball Tournament here today.

Reed, studded with seven Indian players, recorded a 25-6, 25-18, 25-9 win against NPC to accumulate 33 points from 11 matches and remain on the top of the table. Second-placed departmental giants APF, who have faced just one defeat against Reed, saw off Tribhuvan Army Club 25-10, 25-15, 25-23 to collect 33 points from 12 matches.

New Diamond Academy are at the third position with a 25-20, 23-25, 25-20, 25-15 win against Western Regional Volleyball Association. NDA accumulated 27 points from 11 matches.  Western are sixth with 21 points.

Departmental side NPC bounced back to defeat hosts Dhorpatan Sports Club 25-12, 25-17, 25-13 in another match of the day. NPC have 21 points and are fourth ahead of Western. TAC (15 points) and Dhorpatan (eight) are sixth and seventh respectively.
