JHAPA: Rupandehi-XI defeated Fans Club BRC of Bhutan 3-1 to advance to the semi-finals of the Mechi Netralaya Kakarvitta Gold Cup here on Monday.

Deepak Rai scored a brace and Laxman Ruchal added one goal for Rupandehi, while Ramesh KC scored the consolation goal for the Bhutanese club.

Rupandehi’s Deepak Rai was named the man-of-the-match and received Rs 5,000 along with trophy. On Tuesday, Nepal APF Club will play against CMG Club Sankata.
