KATHMANDU: Nepal defeated Bangladesh in their second match of the SAFF U-19 Championship, played at the ANFA ground in Lalitpur.

After the victory, Nepal became winner of the Group A.

Anjan Bista and Ananta Tamang had scored goals for Nepal at the 18th minute and the 3rd minute of the additional time of the match respectively.

Bangladesh, however, had taken lead in the match with a goal by Rohit Sarkar at the 11th minute of the match.

Earlier, Nepal had edged Bhutan 3-0.
