KATHMANDU: Saipal Academy advanced to the girls’ category final of the first U-18 Angels’ Heart Cup Basketball Tournament on Saturday.

Saipal defeated Xavier International College 32-16 in the league match and took berth in the final with one match in hand.

A total of five teams are competing in the category being held under round robin format.

In another match, NASA defeated NCCS 39-13. The winners of the match between NASA and Angels’ Heart on Sunday will decide the second team in final.

In the boys’ category, Trinity International College saw off Gyan Niketan 76-36 and CCRC outplayed Times College 47-44.
