LALITPUR: Samajik Youth Club came from a goal down to defeat Mahabir Club 2-1 to register their maiden victory of the Martyrs Memorial B Division League here at the ANFA Complex grounds on Thursday.

Mahabir opened the scoring through Saroj Thapa early in the fourth minute before Yuman Choche levelled the scores moments before the first half whistle. At a time when both the teams pushed hard for their first victory in the tournament, Diwakar Chaudhary of Samajik headed home the winner in the 78th minute. At the APF Club, New Road Team played a 0-0 draw with Chyasal Youth Club, while Suraj Raut’s 16th minute goal was enough for Khumalatar Youth Club to beat Tushal Youth Club 1-0.
