Samana Youth Club and Nakhipot Youth Club advanced to the quarter-finals of the 30th Triveni Cup Football Tournament here on Friday.
Samana defeated Sundar Bazaar Youth Club 2-0, riding on goals from Sudeep Gurung and Pasang. In another match, Nakhipot beat Gorkha Boys of Butwal 2-0. After a goalless draw in the first half, Ajit Lama and Prakash Pun Magar netted one each for Nakhipot. The quarter-final matches will start from Saturday.
