Royal Blue Satdobato Youth Club moved to the top of the Martyrs Memorial A Division League here at the Chyasal Stadium today.
Satdobato defeated FC Khumaltar 2-1 in the fifth round match riding on goals from Sardorbek Matmuratov and Deepak Raj Singh Thakuri. Rajeev Lopchan replied for Khumaltar. With their fourth win in five matches, Satdobato accumulated 12 points and moved to the top of the table ahead of Church Boys United, who have one match in hand.
Matmuratov opened the scoring for Satdobato in the 13th minute, while Thakuri doubled the tally with his fourth goal of the league in the 25th minute. Lopchan reduced the deficit for Khumaltar in the 63rd minute.
Khumaltar have six points and they are at the eighth position.
Himalayan Sherpa Club and Sankata Club played a goalless draw. Sankata accumulated six points from five matches and they are at seventh spot on better goal difference with Khumaltar.
Himalayan Sherpa are ahead of Friends at 10th position on better goal after they were tied on five points.
