KATHMANDU: Himalayan Cricket Academy is organising the School Cricket League from January 28 to February 16 at six different centres of the country.
The organisers have expected the participation of more than 100 school teams in the tournament to be held in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, Dhangadi, Mahendranagar, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj and Jhapa.
Top two teams in each centre will receive cricket kits worth Rs 100,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively, while the winners will get the opportunity to compete in Super League, informed the organisers in press release.
The organisers will also select a 15-member squad for Cricket Tour of Bangladesh in April and also receive full scholarship from Capital College and Research Centre. Expert Education and Visa Services is the main sponsor of the tournament.
