PARIS: Serbia were handed a tough Fed Cup World Group debut when they were drawn to face Russia in the 2010 opening round.

With top ten players Ana Ivanovic and Jelena Jankovic to call on, Serbia won promotion to the top flight for the first time this year, but against Russia on February 6-7 next year they will face a nation who have won four of the last five Fed Cup titles.

Russia also currently boast four of the world's top seven players.

USA, the 17-time champions, face France in their opener.

This year's final will feature the US against Italy from November 7-8.
