KATHMANDU: The National Sports Council (NSC) announced the date of the long-stalled the Seventh National Games, the seventh edition of the mega sporting event, on Sunday.

The decision was made by a meeting of the NSC held at the International Sports Confederation in Satdobato under the chairmanship of Minister for Youth and Sports, Satya Narayan Mandal, also the Chairman of NSC.

The Games, to be held in the Eastern Development Region will commence on November 23 and end on November 30, said Rohit Dahal, NSC Press Advisor.

The sporting event had been postponed twice due to technical glitches.

Meanwhile, the meeting also decided to set up a preparation desk for preparations of the 13th South Asian Games, which will be hosted by Nepal.
