Sanyog Shahi won the title of the Festival of Lights Golf Tournament here at the Royal Nepal Golf Club on Saturday. Played under the stableford 7/8 handicap format, Shahi accumulated 40 points to claim the trophy.
Nishalya Jung Rayamajhi finished second with 39 points. Mithun Rai bagged the gross section title with 32 points, while Gita Gurung won the women's category title with 28 points. Likewise, Maj Gen Kamal Singh Pradhan bagged the senior section trophy with 40 points, while Kalyan Govinda Shrestha claimed senior section title with 20 points.
Maj Nischaya Jung Rayamajhi won the most birdies award with three birdies, whereas Col Jhalendra Bhattarai and Brig Gen Dilip Jung Rayamajhi bagged the longest drove and closest-to-the-pin awards respectively.
A total of 45 golfers took part in the event.
