KATHMANDU: The second central congress of the Nepal Hockey Association on Saturday elected the 16-member executive committee under the leadership of Anil Prasad Sharma. Sharma was the acting president in the previous committee.
Manish Jha, Rajendra Prasad Shrestha, Himal Khadka and Bhagwati Khadka were elected as vice-presidents, while Subarna Shrestha was picked as general secretary. Asim Sharma and Rameshwor Ghimire were elected as secretary and treasurer respectively. Kantu Ram Paneru, Babu Ram Shah, Nijamuddin Siddique, Anju Pradhan Shrestha, Pawan KC, Sabitri Rajali, Milan KC and Hit Gurung were elected as members.
National Sports Council's Sports Development Department Chief Min Kumar Sharma administered oath of office and secrecy to newly elected executive committee members. Earlier, Foreign Minister NP Saud inaugurated the congress.
