Shrestha off to Davos
KATHMANDU: Nepali ski player Safal Ram Shrestha on Friday left for Switzerland to participate in the FIA Alpine Junior World Skip Championship slated for February 6-7 in Davos.
Shrestha will take part in Slalom and Giant Slalom events in the World Championships.
Japanese coach Osamu Kimura will join Shrestha in Switzerland. Nepal Ski Association President Jeevan Ram Shrestha, who is also the President of Nepal Olympic Committee, bade farewell to the player on Friday. — HNS
