SKorea dominate Paragliding Accuracy World Cup

South Korea dominated the Paragliding Accuracy World Cup claiming seven out of nine medals including all three golds here at Sirkot today.

Korean pilots clean swept individual overall category claiming top three spots. Sanggyu Lim won gold with the score of 12, while Jihun Yoo and Kim Ki Hyeon - who were tied on 15 points - came second and third respectively.

Yukesh Gurung was the best among Nepali participants finishing eighth with the score of 33. A total of 70 players from 13 countries, including 34 from Nepal, took part in the event.

In individual women category, Korean pilot Hyunhee Kim won gold medal with the score of 59, while her teammate Eunyoung Cho came second with 74. Gita Rezky Y Guntari of Indonesia won bronze medal with the score of 211.

Among Nepali pilots, Sabita Tamang was the best and she came overall fifth with the score of 1083, while Prativa Bhujel was sixth with the score of 1144 and Trisha Shrestha Bomjan was eighth with 1166. A total of 15 pilots, including 10 from Nepal, took part in the event.

In team event, Korean team of Changmin Lee, Moonseob Lim, Seongmin Lee and Donghyeon Oh claimed gold medal with the score of 93, while another Korean team of Sanggyu Lim, Jihun Yoo, Hyunhee Kim and Eunyoung Cho finished second with the score of 164.

Nepali team of Yukesh Gurung, Bijay Gautam, Bishal Thapa and Bimal Adhikari claimed bronze medal with the score of 284. A total of 17 teams took part in the event.
