KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Som Bahadur Kumal won the 800m race gold medal in the Brunei Open Athletics Championship on Monday.

According to Nepal Athletics Association General Secretary Sunil Rajbanshi, the best athlete of the seventh National Games Kumal won silver on 400m race.

Another Nepali athlete, Yam Sajan Sunar finished fifth in 100m and came sixth in 200m races.
