The Kailali Coordination Committee of Nepal Sports Journalists Forum is organising the third edition of the Sudurpashchim Sports Award on April 8.
The Award features eight categories - male, female, coach, youth, special, lifetime achievement, Sudurpashchim Icon male and female - based on their performance, informed NSJF Kailali General Secretary and Award Coordinator Pradeep Pathak at a press meet on Sunday. Player of the Year male and female winners will get Rs 35,000 each, while the best coach will receive Rs 30,000.
Likewise, youth, special and lifetime achievement winners will earn Rs 25,000 apiece. The winners of Sudurpashchim Icon will get Rs 20,000 each. Province Sports Council is the promoter of the Award.
NSJF Kailali President Sitaram Ojha and Council Member Secretary Deepak Bahadur Singh exchanged the memorandum of understanding on the occasion.
