KATHMANDU: USA Pro wrestler Zeus Malaki aka Gamer threatened sports journalist of Nayapatrika national daily Prakash Kandel at the press meet of RW Sangram International Wrestling Tournament here on Sunday.

Gamer, who is also competing in the event organised by Nepal Ring Wrestling Association, threatened Kandel after the journalist asked a question. Gamer threatened Kandel saying “Do you want to know it’s real or fake? Talk to me, tell me on my face...shut your mouth, I am not asking you any questions, ok? My legs were broken...but it’s good enough to kick you to the moon. Do you think it’s funny? You have humiliated me, you asked stupid questions, is that what you want to do, huh? I will kick you to the moon and you will be the first man to land on moon, first Nepali.”

Meanwhile, Nepal Sports Journalists Forum condemned the act of the wrestler and demanded action against the culprit. “The NSJF is not going to tolerate such act against its member and we demand action against the wrestler and the association,” said NSJF in a release.
