KATHMANDU: The government on Monday honoured six personalities from sports fraternity on the occasion of Republic Day. National cricket team skipper Paras Khadka and Guinness World Record holder high-altitude marathon runner Hari Bahadur Rokaya were conferred with Kirtimani Rastradeep Maanpadwi, while national cricket team head coach Jagat Tamatta was feted with Prabal Janasewa Maanpadwi. Likewise, national football team goalkeeper Bikesh Kuthu, Olympian taekwondo player Nisha Rawal and 12th South Asian Games gold medallist wushuka Nima Gharti Magar were conferred with Sukriti Padak.
