KATHMANDU: Nepal Squash and Rackets Association is organising the third Civil Bank Open Squash Championship from December 23-25 at the Satdobato Squash Complex in Lalitpur.

The Championship also serves as the 12th South Asian Games selection tournament, informed the organisers at a press meet on Monday.

The championship features five events -- men’s open, women’s open, veteran above-50 and below-50 and boy’s U-17.

A total of 80 players will participate in the championship, the organisers said.

Top six players in men and women’s categories will make it to the first round, while the top four after round-robin competition among them will be picked for the regional games, NSRA vice-president Kiran Shrestha said.
