LALIPTUR: Swapna Vatika won the title of the first Campion Cup Inter-school Futsal Tournament here on Wednesday.

Swapna Vatika defeated Rajarshi Gurukul 2-0 on goals from Abhishek Malla and Dinesh Rai, who was later declared the best player of the tournament.

Diggaj Shrestha and Karandip Shrestha, both from Rajarshi, were named the best goalkeeper and highest scorer respectively.

A total of 24 teams took part in the tournament. Former national football team skipper Rakesh Shrestha and Campion Principal Roshan Bhandari handed over the prizes to the winners.
