The Cricket Association of Nepal on Monday said the bilateral Twenty20 series against Qatar was postponed indefinitely.
The Nepal national team was scheduled to play three T20 International matches from February 9-12 to mark the Qatar Sports Day. "The Qatar government has postponed all the sports activities including the T20I series due to the spike in coronavirus cases," said the CAN in a release.
CAN board meeting had earlier decided to accept the invitation from Qatar Cricket Association and also announced the 18-member team for the training camp that started on Monday itself.
"As the series in postponed indefinitely, we have decided to stop the national team camp for now," the release added.
