KATHMANDU: Tribhuvan Army Club ‘B’ advanced to men’s category semi-finals of the first Manmohan Memorial Open Basketball Tournament on Friday.

TAC defeated Necos 110-50. Ram Krishna Ghatane and Siddhartha Maharjan netted 25 points each for TAC, who finished as Group B winners. SDC Hounds made it to the last four as Group B runners-up.

In women’s section, Budhanilkantha saw off TAC 54-27 and advanced to the semis as Group A winners. Anusha Malla scored 23 points for Budhanilkantha. —HNS
