Tek Bahadur Budhathoki and skipper Bharat Khawas scored one goal each to send the departmental team into the last four, while Bijay Bhujel replied for the home side. Budhathoki opened the scoring for TAC in the 29th minute before Khawas doubled the tally in the 40th minute to go into the half time with a commanding lead. Bhujel reduced the deficit with a goal in the 69th minute but that turned out to be the consolation one for the home team.

Rashtriya Jagriti Club put up an improved show in the second half but poor finishing let the team down.
