JAHAP: Tribhuvan Army Club defeated Nepal Police Club 4-3 on penalties to advance to the semi-finals of the International Invitational Gold Cup here at the Domalal Stadium in Birtamod on Sunday. The match was decided on tie breaker after the departmental teams were deadlocked at 1-1 in the regulation time and scored two goals each in the 20-minute extra time. Goalkeeper Bikesh Kuthu saved Suraj BK’s strike to seal the victory for the Armymen. Tanka Basnet of TAC was named the man-of-the-match. On Monday, Three Star Club will play against Nepal APF Club.
