LALITPUR: Departmental sides Tribhuvan Army Club and Nepal Police Club recorded victories in the Lalit Memorial U-18 Football Tournament here at the ANFA Complex grounds on Sunday.

TAC defeated Friends Club 2-0. Brishant Basnet put TAC ahead in the fourth minute of the match before Jay Adhikari doubled the tally in the 38th minute. In another match, Deepak BK scored a brace as NPC edged past Jawalakhel Youth Club 2-1.

BK opened the scoring in the 16th minute before Sachu Gurung levelled the scores for JYC in the 30th minute. At a time when the match was heading towards the end, BK produced the moment of brilliance and scored the winning goal in the 90th minute.
