KATHMANDU: Universal United Nepalese Taekwondo Federation (UUNTF) on Sunday announced the date and venue for the 11th International Open Friendship Taekwondo Championship. The tournament will be held in Portland, USA from October 14-15 next year, informed the organisers on Monday. A total of 500 players from 23 nations will participate in the championship that offers 50 gold medals in men, women and junior categories in both gorogi and poomsae. Players representing Nepal in the championship were picked from selection tournament on Saturday. UUNTF also donated 50,000 in the Earthquake Relief Fund.
