Takanashi victorious

BERLIN: Sara Takanashi made it five wins in a row in the women’s ski-jumping World Cup in Zao, Japan on Saturday. The 19-year-old Japanese star had already won at Zao on Friday and she was unstoppable again as she cleared 100 metres on her second jump. Takanashi totalled 243.1 points to take first place ahead of Slovenian pair Maja Vtic (238.7), and Ema Klinec (236.1). She has now won six out of seven jumps in the World Cup season which returns to Europe next weekend at Oberstdorf and holds a handsome overall lead in the standings.
