KATHMANDU: A 20-member team, including 18 players, of Scholars’ Home Academy is set to compete in Donsti Cup International Football Tournament slated for July 1-7 in San Sebastian, Spain.

The tournament features events in various age groups from 10-18 years, the boys’ U-13 team of Scholars Home will compete in tournament, informed SHA Principal Hari Narayan Upadhyaya at a press meet on Tuesday.

Around 500 teams from 57 countries will take part in the tournament organised annually since 1992. This is the first time a Nepali team is competing in the event.

According to Upadhyaya, the hosts will bear all the expenses of the team.
