Capt Hem Bahadur Thapa won the RNGC Anniversary Golf Tournament organised by the Royal Nepal Golf Club here today.

Played under stableford 3/4 handicap format, Thapa earned 37 points to become the overall winner. Hari Bahadur Shrestha accumulated 36 points to win the men’s section trophy, ahead of Neeraj SJB Rana, who totalled 34 points.

Dorji Tsering Sherpa won the best gross award with 31 points. In senior section, Manilal Thapa came first while Sumitra Dayanadna won the women’s title. Other winners included Aswini Axsena (guest), Hari Bahadur Shrestha (most birdies), Raj Pradhan (longest drive) and Michael Kollmair (closest-to-the-pin).
