CHITWAN: Goalkeeper Alen Neupane saved three spot kicks as Ruslan Three Star Club defeated Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marshyangdi Club in sudden death shootout to enter the final of the 13th Tuborg Bikash Running Shield here at the Campa Chaur on Thursday.

The match was decided in the fourth attempt of the sudden death after both the teams were tied at 3-3 on penalties following a 1-1 draw in the regulation period.

Neupane won the man-of-the-match award and Rs 10,000.

In Saturday’s final, Three Star will face Nepal APF Club, who registered a 3-1 victory over Friends Club in the first semi-final match on Wednesday.

Top two teams will receive Rs 500,000 and Rs 200,000 respectively.
