KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Xavier, Unique School, Lycium and Trungram International Academy (TIA) advanced to the semi-finals of the Inter-school Basketball Tournament organised by Grammar Public School here on Friday.

Kathmandu Xavier defeated Gyan Niketan 92-80. Asim Shrestha top scored for the winners with 48 points.

Likewise, Unique beat hosts Grammar ‘B’ 100-47 riding on 35 points from Bikash Giri. Lycium beat hosts Grammar ‘A’ 54-34, while TIA outplayed Radient Readers 110-44 with Santosh Shrestha contributing 33 points for the winners.

In Saturday’s semi-finals, Kathmandu Xavier will play against Unique, while Lycium will take on TIA.
